Tales of Towu

I had the pleasure to work along-side a talented artist/illustrator, Yinkong Vue in collaboration on his animation project. My role was to build a website focused on showcasing and bringing his work into the digital space for others to view and experience.

Tales of Towu is a project that aims to bring life to the once orally exclusive folktales of the Hmong people. Nue, Zer, and the Tiger is one of the most well known tales and is just one of several dozens that have been told through the decades. Through animation, illustrations, and concepts, the folktale is reimagined in a new light.
